My mind was in chaos and my body was buzzing with the closeness of his touch. I could not even answer to him as I stared into his dark eyes that were somewhat covered with a few wet curls that were falling on his forehead. With my heart in my throat, I silently stared into his eyes until he straightened on his feet but he did not step back to create any distance between us.

I could touch him with my body if I moved even an inch. And I was scared of moving and filling that one inch of gap. The feeling of wanting to fall into his arm was tempting, but I had to control myself and keep that temptation at bay.

“Wish me luck.” he muttered, his one hand slipping inside the pocket of his trouser and the other one pushing back the curls from his forehead.

I looked at him in confusion. What was he talking about? I had literally forgotten all about everything else but him and his hot body against mine.

“Say it.” he repeated softly with hooded gaze, and his head tilted to the side, “come on.
