Zayn looked like he was about to have a heart attack. He had gone deathly pale. My heart rammed against my ribs hard. He managed to gesture to me that it was time to return to the camp.

We moved low to the ground till we were some distance from the meeting spot. I stopped as I turned around to face Zayn. He saw the worry in my face and fixed a fake smile on his face that did nothing to calm my frayed nerves.
