“Fuck, fuck, fuck, aaaaahhhhhh,” I let everything out, screaming into the musty pillow. I couldn’t believe it. He was being serious. He had lied, why did everyone always lie to me? Why the hell was I so gullible??

Because for some stupid reason, you like to see the best in everyone but then complain when you didn’t see the lie. I feel her eyeroll, like she was stating an obvious fact.
