“ April wasn’t punished.” She said simply and I released a breath I didn’t realize I had been holding.

“ Why?” I asked simply, trying to calm myself.

“ I don’t know. I just know that she wasn’t and that’s just weird because you’re living with the two people in the pack that can punish April, yet they don’t do anything.”
