“ How is she?” I heard Hector say. It was him…my Hector. How did he find me? And where did he take me to.

“ She’s alright. Her temperature is normal again and she’s …very much awake.” I heard the one the girls call Mom said. I slowly got up from the bed they placed me and sat up, wrapping my arms around my knee.

Just saying his name alone made me feel so much pain. How he could betray me in the last minute for a girl like April was beyond me, if it was Daphne I would have been less bitter.
