“Woah!” Halsey’s eyes widen in awe. They’ve arrived at the Checkmate Casino, one of the largest casinos in the country. It’s situated only an hour away from Bayers’ Coast but Halsey has never been to the place. The luxuriant casino has a red and gold theme with the touch of Indian architecture. The building is shaped like a miniature Taj Mahal only with dark jade marbles. Several pillars are placed within the building, sturdy and smooth while the carpets are deep scarlet. There’s a large throne in the middle of the room which is reminiscent of the infamous Peacock Throne which Halsey has only read about in the books.
