Chapter 36

Once we finished breakfast Elijah and I went upstairs to our office. Elijah had work he needed to catch up on for the pack and I needed to start looking through the books that we found. It wasn’t exactly the most exciting way to start the weekend but being luna wasn’t all about parties and socialising.

Elijah liked having me close when he was working so I sat beside him at his desk as I looked through one of the books that we found. Elijah kept at least one hand on me at all times. He didn’t seem to care how slow or awkward it made things for him, he just wanted to have me in his arms. I wasn’t going to object, having him this close to me chased away my worries over the dream I had last night.

Every so often he would lean over and kiss my cheek or my hair then go back to work. I couldn’t imagine that he was getting much done but I was enjoying being here with him. I wish I could say the same about the book.

The book that I had selected seemed to give detailed family trees for a bun
