CHRISTABEL'S POV.

Michelle ignored my existence throughout the day. She acted like she did not see me, even when I sat beside her during history class.

She did not say a word to me and I need an explanation. This is the very first time something like this would happen.

Michelle is more than a best friend to me. We have been there for each other during hard times. It was really hard to ignore the side talks and hateful glare that my classmates threw my way.

The school was looking very dry because almost all the students had started going home. I sat on the bench outside our class, waiting for Amarachi and Michelle.

I had texted Ade and Jeff to meet me here, a few minutes ago. I could not talk to Michelle because she was giving me attitudes so I pleaded with Amarachi to cajole her into coming here.

“Hey, bel. What's up? Where are the others?" Jeff asked. Jeff and Ade, are here already.

“I do not know what is taking them so long but they should be here very soon.”
