Chapter 7: Trouble

Anastasia POV

  BACK TO PRESENT.

Thinking about it now I wonder why I never said anything to Mom or Dad.

Maybe if I did it would have been different now.

They would have scolded him and maybe he would have changed..just maybe.

 Maybe he would have continued to treat me as a nobody.I stayed quiet for so long that I got used to his treatment.

Avoiding him in school was the only thing I did.

 If he wasn't proud to call me his younger sister I would stay away.

    I walked to school and got to class safely ,nothing eventful happened except Dennis getting on my nerves during class.

 I don't know if he is just out to bother me each day.

     When the bell of breakfast rang , Sarah decided to eat lunch together with me in the cafeteria. She had this sad look on her face. I wonder what happened.

 I wanted to ask but I wasn't feeling like having a conversation now.

     As we walked out of the classroom to go to the cafeteria two girls stood in front of us.

  " You are Anna right?" The first girl who tied her hair in a ponytail asked.

 In this situation I should say no.

 Anyone that asks for your name didn't mean while at all.

  "What's the matter Tina?" Sarah asked her.

  "This doesn't concern you Sarah. "Lola frowned at Sarah's interruption.

   "It does concern me because you are talking to me....please just let us be okay " Sara said.

 I was getting confused as to what was happening here.

  "Hump....you can't tell me what to do Sarah mind your business." She said as she placed her hand on her waist.

   "What do you want with Anna?" Sarah asked.

 "I just wanted to tell her to stay away from Caleb ,I saw the way he defended her and all that ...Anna don't get the wrong idea about Caleb you better stay clear of him. " She warned.

  "I don't understand what you are saying ." I replied confused as to what was happening.

  "She's telling you to stay away from Caleb, he's taken." The second girl chipped in.

  "What happened that day was just a coincidence....I don't even know much about Caleb." I reassured her.

  "I like the way you understand what's going on here and don't beat around the bush...just stay away from him" she said.

 "I didn't look for him." I replied.

 "Don't say you weren't warned" She said as she walked away with her friend.

 "What was that all about?" I asked Sarah .

"Beats me ." She replied as she shrugged it off.

"You know them?" I asked.

 "That's Tina and Dora ...Caleb's fan girls," Sarah replied.

Fan girls? Caleb has fangirls? Well he is handsome for his own good.

 What am I saying?

 How does Sarah know all this and I don't?

"Oh I didn't know about that." I replied 

 "How would you know when all you do is study " Sarah chaffed.

 "Let's go to the cafeteria," I said as I rolled my eyes at her.

   I wanted to go check if Caleb was in my secret hideout but I also wanted to have lunch with Sarah.

    I suddenly regret not going to my secret hideout out because the moment I walked into the cafeteria with Sarah I ran into Vincent the bottle was holding fell to the floor and the contents spilled.,..oh my bad luck was all I thought as i looked up to apologize to the person and saw Vincent smirking down at me.

It just feels as if he walked into me on purpose,I was distracted but he could have seen me.

  I took two involuntary steps back ,my eyes widened in horror, my heart pounding in my chest,of all the people I had to run into it had to be Vincent.

Oh my goodness.

  "You should at least pick it up" he said to me and he bent and picked up the bottle of water.

  "I...i..am sorry,I didn't see you..I ...I wasn't looking. " I stammered.

I always hid away from Vincent.

How did this happen?

I totally forgot about his existence.

 "Am I invisible now that you can't see me Anna?" Vincent asked as he tilted his head to the side.

" Come closer dear Anna you might see me properly when you do." Vincent said as he took a step closer to me and I took three back.

 "hy are you moving away from me ?." Vincent smirked while he took a step forward and I took two backwards.

   "You better not run away Anna, you gotta pay me for this.' ' He said as he lifted up the bottle of water in his hand and showed me the water was spilled on the floor.

   "She's sorry Vincent she didn't mean it ,she will buy another one for you" Sarah chipped in.

  " I wasn't talking to you princess,you better stay out of it you want me to turn my attention to you... huh?" Vincent asked Sarah with a raised brow.

  "Come with me." He told me and my eyes widened as I shook my head.

 Who in their right would go with their bully.

  "You don't want to come along?" He arched his eyebrow .

  "How...how...how much should I play you ?" I asked as I gulped in fear and his smirk disappeared.

 "Do I look like someone who needs your stupid money Anna!" He yelled at me and it drew the attention of other students.

 "Um...um how should I pay you then?" I asked curiously.

  "I need to talk to you outside...let's go outside. " He said as he walked towards me.

  " And why should she do that ?" A familiar voice asked from behind him and he stopped in his tracks and frowned.

   Caleb walked up to us and stood in between me and Vincent.

   Was he here the whole time?

 He appears in front of me more than often.

   "Caleb " Vincent growled slowly as if warning him to stay out of this but Caleb didn't back down.

 "Yes Vincent." Caleb replied as he shoved his hands into his pocket.

   " You should know better than to involve yourself in my matters...are you trying to cross me? "Vincent gritted out in annoyance.
