ZACHARY'S POV

When I recommend for Claire to drop by sometime I didn't say she had to come by my house. I was busy or should I better rephrase that I was being drowned by work until she came over using my statement as armour.

She waltz in without an invitation proceeds to raise the bridge of her nose. "You seem to have your work cut out for you." The irritation she had earlier was gone, it was her usual fake cheery self.

"Again, I'll repeat myself, get out of my house." I raised my voice a bit since the last two times were uneffective. "But you were the one who invited me Zachary, don't you think you should at least pretend you're happy to see me ?"

"But I'm not happy to see you." I clicked my tongue at her. She pressed the back of her palm over her forehead. "Oh goodness Zachary can't you get a joke." She dropped her palm when she realized I'm dead serious about her absence.
