Chapter 12

"I've been here for four days yet I still haven't tried swimming in the sea," I said as Ezra and I stopped right in front of the sea where water was splashing on our feet.

After dinner, we decided to go to the seashore. Ezra was holding my heels while my feet were on the soft, wet sand. The moon was too bright and circled that it gave enough light that reflects on the long wavy sea and the sand. There were few people enjoying bonfires but we were far from them so it felt like we were the only two, enjoying paradise.

"Sure, I'll swim with you. If that's what you're trying to pursue."

I glared at him. I didn't know where he gets his punchy words but I must say deep inside my heart, it was capturing me.

"It's not what I'm trying to pursue. Maybe it's the other way around." I smirked.

"Or you're just in denial."

I punched his firm shoulder. "I'm not but whatever." I rolled my eyes before turning my back on him.

"Where are you going?" He walked with me.
