“What are you talking about Mike?” He turned towards Mike and gritted out.
“I’m serious Liam. Do you or do you not love her?” Mike stepped up to Liam. He was sure Liam liked Lise but love? It was a possibility, but he couldn’t entirely be sure. He had seen the way Liam was around Lise. He looked at her as if she meant the world to him as if her mere presence would brighten his mood.
“I don’t like where you are going with this,” Liam said and turned around and tried walking out, only to be stopped by Mike.
“Just answer Liam. You behave like a love-sick puppy around her,” Mike said looking at Liam in the eyes. Both the boys were almost the same height with Mike being an inch shorter than Liam.
“I don’t want to talk about this right now. I just want to get her out of there.” He ground his teeth together, looking ahead of him.

Lise sat under the umbrella that stood still, protecting her eyes from the blazing sun. It always appalled her how sunny it was in the morning and how cold it could get by the evening.The book in her hand is still on the first page. She sat out looking at the gates, far away, hoping to cross it one day.Her little heart was hoping that Andreas would show some mercy on her and would let her go. She was missing her family. She wanted to hug all of them and hold them closer to herself. And maybe appreciate them more as well.It is weird how it took her getting kidnapped by a heartless man to actually understand the value of the people around her. Annalise gasped for air when her small body was being pulled into the water. She wasn’t able to move anymore.
