Before she could apprehend, she was thrown inside the bedroom and heard the door being locked. Emma gulped, swallowing the fear that was rising inside her. She was terrified to look behind her because she knew he was standing. He was standing right behind her. She knew the moment she would turn around; his cold eyes will confront hers. The fear would be so intense that she would not be able to move. She would want to run for the door, but the door was locked. She would be thrown inside again by the Devil who was ready to assault her anytime he desired.

I thought beauty would tame the beast. and secondly, Emma is young and dumb. the best way to escape your captor is to gain their trust to constantly fighting losing battles. jeez
