I closed my locker after taking my Accounting textbook, then turned around and began walking to class.

The hallway was annoyingly crowded this morning, students pushing their way among themselves to get to their classes.

I raised my face which I had lowered to my arms after taking a turn when I saw someone familiar dressed in a black jacket and white tee shirts underneath pass by me, The cologne filled my nostrils and I knew that scent too well.

I turned my head over my shoulder to gaze at him curiously, but I couldn't make out his face earlier because he was wearing a nose mask when he was coming away, but I felt his eyes were on me when we made brief contact with our eyes before he brushed past me.
