~Grandma Falicia’s POV~
A young woman crashed into me as I was departing for my check-up with Doctor Abbott. No one dared to challenge me. I didn't respond straight away for some reason, which is unusual for me. My gaze was drawn to the child who was bawling. Javier, my grandson, looks just like that boy. He is like a mini Javier. Is it possible that Javier has a son that I am unaware of?I've been pleading with him and Sandra to start a family. I urged Javier to propose to that girl the first year he met her, but he refused to commit. I'm not sure why he decided to propose now. What if that small boy is his child? After all these years, why hasn't he informed me he already had a son? How is it possible? That birthmark was passed down through the Hills family. My grandson has a lot of good explaining to do. I picked up my phone and dialed his number. He was too fast to pick up the phone, so I asked him to stop by my house, but he said he was already there, and the helper informed him that he had gone to the hospital. We arrived at my home after about 15 minutes, and Javier was there with his fiancée, Sandra. I greeted Sandra and called Javier to my study."How come you didn't tell me you already had a son?""Grandma, what do you mean?"" How could I have a son and keep it a secret from you?""Is that even possible?""Today at the hospital, I met a boy. The boy came in with his mother terrified. Just like you, he's also allergic to brinjals and chickpeas." Javier burst out laughing."Grandma, just because a boy has the same allergies like mine, doesn't mean he's mine, come one."" Put an end to it and tell me the truth. How can a boy who looks just like you have the same birthmark as you, and share your allergies? Javier, how can you explain that?""I'm not sure, but I'm very sure I don't have a son.""Are you sure about that? I'm 100% certain that boy is a Hills.""I'm sure you'll be the first to know if I have a son, Grandma.""If you say so, I'm not sure why I'm so attracted to that boy. He'll be here next weekend, in any case. I requested that his mother bring him. You are welcome to come over and see him for yourself."I've never been more puzzled in my life after facing Javier. How come that child looks like a Hills if he claims it's not his son? Anyway, it may just be a coincidence, but something about that kid makes me want to get closer to him. We'll see as time passes, but I'm definitely not letting go of this.~Gabriella’s POV~I had an early meeting with Hills Group International today. They reserved my services for all of their old computers. They apparently intended to refurbish the computers and install the latest software before donating them to charity. As a result, I'll be quite busy today and tomorrow. I'll have to contact Mrs. Hills to have her stay with Xander. I'll go fetch him, perhaps tomorrow. I wouldn't want to go up and down after a long day. I wish Alex and Chloe had been there. They went to Dubai to spend their anniversary. It's been more than a month. So Mrs. Hills is literally a lifesaver for me right now. I'm going to acquire a car when I finish this assignment with Hills Group International. Xander and I need a car. I couldn't afford a car before, but now that I have this job, I know I can. I took out my phone and dialed Mrs. Hills' number. She picked up the phone after it had rung for a few minutes."Hello child, I was about to call you. I intended to despatch my driver to pick up the young man. Is he prepared?"" Almost, I needed a favor. I'm sorry, but I didn't have anyone to ask since all of my friends are out of the country. I have a task with Hills Group International that I need to complete by tomorrow. Do you mind if he swings over for a sleepover? I'll pick him up the next day.""Hills Group International, what are you doing there?""Oh, I service devices and install software on the side, plus I operate a little photographic business every week. They asked me to repair their old devices; they want to donate them to charity. Therefore, I won't be able to complete everything today.""It's all right, child. I'll have Lucas, my driver, come fetch him. Please provide me with your address.""That's fine." I gave her my address, and Xander was hauled up an hour later. I called an uber to Hills Enterprise.~Javier’s POV~Today is a rather leisurely Saturday. I contacted Sandra and asked her to accompany me to Grandma's house; she consented. Sandra dislikes my grandmother. I'm aware of this, and I know she'll go because I asked. I simply want her to know how wonderful my grandmother is. I know she's a lioness, but she's incredible. People are afraid of her, yet all she does is put on a frightening expression. She is the most lovely grandmother I've ever met, and I want to spend the day with her. I love Sandra, but I know she's with me for money. I don't care; all women seek money. I told her we should meet at my grandmother's house since Sandra's house was a little far away, so I got in my car and drove to my Grandma's house. Her servants were busy watering the garden when I arrived, parked my car, and went inside. My grandmother was in the living room, so I rushed directly there, and that's when I saw him, the kid.How could someone look so much like me?I raced to the kid before even greeting my grandma."Can you tell me your name?" The boy looked at me confused too, as I was"Xander Xavier Parker." He provided his complete name."Do you mind if I call you Xavier?"" I like Xavier more, but when I use that name, my mum always cries, but it's between you and me, right?""Right, high five." I dislike children. They irritate me, but this boy is an exception. He's adorable. Sandra came in as I was playing with Xavier, looking at him as if she had seen a ghost."Whose child is this, and why does he resemble you, Javier?"" I'm not sure where Grandma got him, but he's adorable." Sandra was clearly concerned, but Grandma just ignored us and left, taking Xavier with her. I'm not sure why, but everyone was treating the kid like he was a hill. He was well-liked by the workers. Except for Sandra, everyone wanted to play with him. I saw confusion mingled with hatred in her eyes. I kissed her cheeks."How was your trip here?""Not bad, Javier. Do you have a son? ""I wish he was mine, but I have no idea whose kid he is.""I don't like him." I was enraged by her remark."You despise a child who hasn't done anything wrong to you?"" Are you out of your mind?""What if he's your son?""Does it bother you that he may be my son Sandra? Are you that evil?""No, I'm just stating the facts." I can't believe this woman's audacity." Listen, we came here to spend time with my grandma, and if you don't feel comfortable with her and that boy, you're free to go. Get that?"~Gabriella’s POV~ I completed my task with Hills Group International at precisely noon on Sunday. I was so exhausted that I packed all of my equipment into the suitcase I typically bring to work on weekends. Because I lacked a larger bag, I opted for a piece of luggage to store my stuff. I hailed a taxi to Mrs. Hills' residence. I was dragged along with my luggage. I approached the gates of a colossal home, much too large for a stand-alone woman. There was a large yard and plenty of space for a toddler to run about. The property had a swimming pool, and the mansion was suitable for a queen. Xander was swimming with Mrs. Hills when I spotted him. I could see my son's enthusiasm. Two helpers and a couple of bodyguards kept an eye on them while they swam. I greeted the two helpers and bodyguards who were around. I overhear Xander speaking to Mrs. Hills. "Grandma, look! I can float! I did it!" That image brought tears to my eyes. Xander never had anyone except for me, Chloe, and Alex.
~Gabriella's POV~ I picked Xander up after work and we drove to Chloe and Alex's condo. When I entered and parked the car, they were sitting outside. Alex was taken aback. He rushed over to me. "Where did you obtain the money to purchase a $3-8 million car?” My eyes widened. "What do you mean?" "This car you are driving is worth $3-8 million. Gabby, I can think of just one person from whom I could obtain this car without hesitation: Xander's father." "How come you believe that he is the only one who can afford the car?" "Do you recall the first time you met him? Are you aware of what you drank? You were sipping a two-million-dollar bottle of champagne, the Fucken Henri IV Dugognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne, Gabby, while he sipped a 1.4-million-dollar bottle of Russo-Baltique Vodka, What good is a car if a person can squander that much money on a drink?" My eyes widened. I just shrugged it off. " He did not buy this car; someone else gifted it to me today." "Who would gi
~Grabiella's POV~ I received a call from Grandma Felicia requesting that I drop Xander off at Hills Group International. I traveled promptly to the firm and waited in the reception area but was summoned for an urgent photo shoot. I contacted Grandma Felicia to inform her that we were scheduled for a mandatory photo session and that I had arrived but had seen no one, but the pretty receptionist. After approximately three minutes, a man walked down, and Xander seemed to recognize him, telling me Grandma Felicia had sent him to pick up Xander. I sped away, leaving Xander in the care of the gentleman. ~Javier’s POV~"Fuck!." I couldn’t even see Xavier’s mother. In any case, it's OK. I hired someone to arrange the room he would stay in a while visiting me last week, and I was done for the day. Xavier and I visited a video game shop in order to purchase some games. He was selecting everything I wanted. When I initially met him, I requested that he call me Javier, but this child addressed
~Gabriella’s POV~ "Grandma, I'm aware that you've been wondering about Xander's father, and I'm sorry I never had the opportunity to tell you what occurred between me and his father. I met him after completing my university's third-year exams. My friends advised me that I needed to find a boyfriend since I had never dated, so we went to a nightclub. It was my first experience at a nightclub. I drank alcohol for the first time, and Xander's father joined me. We danced together and ultimately left the club together, to a hotel he had reserved before coming to the club. I had my first kiss and lost my virginity on the same day. I kissed and slept with Xander's father for the first time. We had a good time. I awoke the following morning alone in bed. He was gone. I hoped he would return, but he never did. I continued returning to the hotel with the expectation of seeing him and informing him about my pregnancy, but I had no luck locating him. He had vanished, leaving no trace. I spent the
~Javier’s POV~ He was pacing up and down his office, scratching his temples, after discovering the truth about Xavier. Javier is renowned for being icy, but he was perplexed just now, unsure how to digest what he had heard. He flipped his office on its side."Fuck!" He murmuredWhen she sees me, what will she say? What will her reaction be? All of those questions flooded my mind, and I didn't see that Ethan, my friend, had already entered my office."Your office is a shambles. Do you want to talk about it? "Javier understood that informing Ethan was the same as telling Sandra, but he preferred to keep the news to himself for the time being."No, let's go grab some beers instead. I need a drink. " He told Ethan. They decided to go to a bar. Javier's thoughts were so preoccupied with the notion that he was a father that no amount of alcohol could distract him from reality. He realized he would have to make compromises, then he thought of his lawyer.𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑖 𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑜
~Javier's POV~When I awakened the following day, Grandma was waiting for me. When I swung back, she promptly sent me to the bathroom. She despises booze. I brushed my teeth and went up to her. I had a feeling I was going to be chastised. But she pleasantly surprised me this time. She didn't suffocate me."What are your plans? Are you going to let Xander go? ""Grandma, I'm not sure, but I love my kid. I was in love with him before I even knew he was mine. I was in love with Xavier without even understanding it. The kid is lovely; he behaves precisely like me. How can someone who looks exactly like me do everything the same way I do? I still can't believe I'm a father. I wasn't ready to be a father yet, Grandma, but I wanted a son. But how can I take my kid without also bringing his mother? I want him to be with me every day.""You do realize you can't avoid Gabby indefinitely? Gabby doesn't detest you; she wishes she never had to see you again. She isn't the kind to turn a kid agains
~Gabriella’s POV~I had a week-long reservation at The Hills International Hotel. They were establishing a new hotel, and my little studio was contracted to photograph their new cuisine and rooms for an upcoming magazine. It was a fantastic bargain for both myself and my staff. The shoot began early this morning. I wasn't going to make it to Xander's school, and there was no way I was going to ask Chloe. The lady was struggling to take a breath. I took my phone from my pocket and dialed Grandma's number. I informed her that I would be out of town on business and would not be able to pick up Xander as usual. Grandma said she'd send a driver to pick him up.The Hills were said to be the city's rulers. What exactly am I saying? They're in charge of the whole nation. I'd heard they were wealthy. I sometimes wonder whether Grandma Felicia was the owner of all of it. She was the only Hills I knew, but Grandma was usually at home, so she couldn't have owned and operated all of these enterpri
~Javier’s POV~While most women would have leaped at an offer to dine with the assistant CEO, Gabby scowled, knitted her brows, swiftly shifted her expression to smiling and searched for an excuse to refuse the invitation, and walked away without giving him another opportunity to arrange another meeting. I knew she was still around since we were catering for her and her staff. So I went to my suite to change. I was dressed in track trousers and a vest. I phoned the hotel management and requested him to send someone to my room with a bottle of wine and two glasses. Someone came to my door after five minutes and handed me the wine. I exited my apartment and went to Gabriella's. When I arrived at her suite, I saw her reclining on the sofa, chatting on the phone. It's as though she forgot to shut the door. I walked in and shut the door. I didn't want to interrupt her phone conversation."I love you, sweetie," she said. "Don't be concerned; Saturday will be all about you and me. Give Grand
