Chapter 239 Angelica

Third Person's POV

As soon as the all-clear was given, all the doors to the bunkers opened. Everyone flooded out, desperate to see the damage. Desperate to see who made it and who didn't.

Angelica quickly fled from the bunker, desperate to find Ryder.

After spending over half an hour looking for him, She found a quiet place by a tree where she sat down.

She knew he was alive, She knew he wasn't seriously injured. She would feel it if he was.

She felt sad as she sat there under the tree.

I feel so silly! Of course things are going to go back to the way they were, now that the war is over. It's too soon, he needs time to heal. Time to mourn for her. And I don't blame him, he does need time to mourn her. They both deserve that. She thought to herself.

But that doesn't make it hurt any less. She feels the pull so strong, stronger than he does. She felt it the moment she laid eyes on him. She knew that very moment what he was going to be to her. Or more so, what she was going to be for him.

The next book comes out as soon as this book is done. I am still writing this book, but I'm almost done. there's only a couple more chapters left. I didn't actually start writing this book until book 2 was completely written. It just wasn't fully uploaded onto the site yet.
