Chapter 4: Strange Spirit Beasts

Hana wakes up in her dilapidated house. The blue dress didn't even have a place intact. Luckily before she left the house to find Kristen, she had worn her underwear inside. Hana conveniently tore apart the remaining debris and threw them to the floor.

The old wolf and the mysterious woman disappeared without a trace. Hana touched the tooth marks behind her neck suspiciously. The conversation between the two of them mentioned her. But the amount of information is not enough to know what they want from her.

Hana watched the loose door frame make a sound of crease every time the wind blew, the tile on the roof dangling in large pieces fell to the floor without an intact place. The spiders are inlaid with white silk around the wood stove because they had not been rekindled for a long time, and the two bowls were neatly stacked on the chair next to them. For the past 18 years, Hana has been used to these things, but today she is a little disgusted with them.

Nixven, holding a piece of dry wood, stood in front of the door, hating the mud on the ground from yesterday's rain. He looked inside the house to see if Hana was still there, which was the order Kristen had given him this morning. Mr. Kriten is a close friend of Eric's, often acting very generously with the obedient servant. He was sure that this trip back would receive 2 pearls of dawn as little. Maybe for Kristen, the pearl of the light is just a little money, but for people like Nixven, it's a fortune.

Initially just wanting to look and then return, he was even more exclamation until he saw Hana pathetic shape. A man who could not have survived but still blatantly existed no matter how battered the world was. Nixven looked over at Hana and returned. He rushed like the wind back to the primary training ground, Kristen was fighting Eric. They were training for the Scott Hall school selection.

"Kristen, she's still in the trash house." Nixven shouted.

Eric squealed, his fat body rolling around in the sky and falling freely to the ground. Not far away, the big hole also picked up smoke from the suspicion of confusing the rock. Kristen seemed to be hearing the wrong thing, he suspected, "Nixven, repeat it."

Kristen face no longer looked friendly. His cold eyes shining directly at Nixven frightened him. Kristen legs trembled constantly, and his angry appearance looked ugly.

"Kristen," Eric squealed. "You have killed me a little bit."

"I'm sorry, Eric," Kristen said. "That girl is still alive."

Kristen tells him what happened last night. Of course, he wasn't thrilled because if Hana died, he knew where to go to find a replacement to torture him whenever he wasn't happy. Anyway, Hana existence for Eric is still a bit meaningful, even though it's not good.

"It's okay, Kristen," Eric insisted. "It doesn't dare to talk to anyone. Of course, no one will be on its side."

Kristen doesn't care if Hana lives or dies, because the day of the Scott Hall selection is approaching. Anyone with bad morals will be eliminated first. Kristen needs to know that no one believes Hana. That's enough. Nixven was set aside, and all illusions of the pearl of the dawn were shattered when he saw Kristen and Eric get into a fight again. He thought they wouldn't care about Hana strangeness this morning, so Nixven stood still and said nothing more.

Hana goes into the forest, unable to count on a meal from D. Bean house. The surrounding wild trees were almost completely picked. Force Hana to go deeper. The whole town of Quansib prohibits children pass entering the protective barrier. They didn't tell the kids why. It makes the forest inside mysterious. Today is also the first time Hana has crossed the obstacle. According to the scent, Hana, a circuit goes straight inside.

"Oven, it's her there."

"Yes, that's right."

"She looks small.”

"Look at those wings; it's colorful."

"Haven't Short Legs come back yet?"

"Mrs. Vinlot has given him another job," he said.

"I don't know which one of us she'll choose."

"Yes, to meet her, I called my kids up early."

Hana looked at where the voice was coming from, a black-and-white striped lizard talking to the parrot with a checkered scarf in front of his neck. Sometimes he politely used his wings to wipe his nose and then put it down shortly. It seems that the oven is the name of the parrot. Hana's look made both of them a little surprised and embarrassed. No different from them, Hana felt even crazier. Since when can parrots and lizards talk to each other? When can she hear what they're saying? Hana wanted to ask some questions, but they both quickly disappeared.

Not long after, Hana stopped in front of the tree with bunches of succulent red berries. That strange smell led her here; Hana quickly climbed the tree. A pack of animals of all shapes and shapes tumbled on her, and they wanted to take a seat in her hand.

"Get out, it's mine," said the bluefish with two legs.

"I came first, it was mine," argues the disgruntled little deer with long horns.

"Mom,"

(What's going on here?) Hana tells herself. She had never seen such a strange animal. It's hard to name or classify them.

"Shut up. Mrs. Vinlot will punish all of you."

As if there was a miracle, the whole orderly standing down lined up from low to high. The two-headed fox with thick glasses, holding a white whip to control them, was about to be lined up one by one like their class leader. It just flew up to face Hana.

"Hana, you have to choose one of them as a pet," it said.

"Why?" Hana exclaimed.

Where did it take a book and put it in mid-air, the book hovering without someone having to take it? After a while of searching, it pushed the book towards Hana.

"This is the reason."

The last descendant of the Red Alpha, Hana found it ridiculous that the Red Alpha was the most influential ancestor of the Alpha series. Currently, the red Alpha series is almost all extinct. Where did they get the last heir of the red Alpha? Hana pushed the book back to the two-headed Fox. But it automatically turned to Hana for a moment, and every page of the book was open.

"Who is Mrs.Vinlot?" Hana asked.

"You didn't read it carefully, which mentioned her," the Fox said proudly. "Your mother was the last descendant of the Red Alphas, but she accepted to give birth to her to abandon her duties. So you have to inherit her. In ancient times, the red Alpha line became extinct due to the curse of the Black Dome witch family. Her mother, who had run away from their pursuit, was forced to leave her behind. Mrs.Vinlot is the only red Alpha who still exists to this day, except you."

"Where's my mother?"

"She is on higher ground than Quansib. You can't get there right now,"

"But now, I don't have anything else, how could it become a red Alpha?"

It sighed at Hana's stupid expression, "Don't you realize you can hear the spirit beast's voice?"

Since last night, Hana realized that her body had a lot of differences. The dragon inside her head was still in hibernation, the yellow band of light fading. The toughness of the legs and the physical strength are superior to usual.

"Didn't she say anything to you?"

Hana shook her head, perhaps the person she referred to was the mysterious woman last night.

"You also know that werewolf magic is divided into different ranks. You possess the power of the ancient dragon, which is the highest power ever for the Red Alpha. But if you want to become strong, you need to level up. The dragon will awaken as long as the energy reaches the highest altitude. Each time it awakens a yellow ring of light surrounds it. Currently, only in the early level 1, the highest level for werewolf magic is ten. It's a long way from being able to wake up fully. First of all, you need to choose a pet. It will be a great help every time you go to battle,"

It pointed to the long line of strange animals and said to Hana, "You just have to close your eyes, put your hands forward. Your energy and your pet will appeal to each other."

Hana listened well to what it said. Everything around her fell silent until something was in the palm of her hand that she opened her eyes. A lizard with tiny red horns was staring at her intently. Around the noise from a young age and officially like bees breaking their nests.

"Why is it," one said.

"Is there any mistake here?" the other asked.

"The one with the red horns, he is not to come to good," the other scoffed.

The Fox was a little unwanted but it didn't say anything else. It gave Hana a bag of fruit and took her back to the ground, and did not forget to tell Hana to practice regularly and how to practice, it did not speak. Hana put the lizard in her sleeve, wanting to say goodbye to the Fox, but they completely disappeared.

At the forest's highest point, Mrs. Vinlot stared at the image in front of her. Of the many beasts, it chooses the weakest one. During a trip to clear the monsters in the forest, she picked up one egg that was black. It later hatches a lizard with red horns. It's the strangest kind of spirit beast she has ever met. Every type of beast has divine magic, but it doesn't. Most animals have magical bags, but neither do they. Apart from the ability to survive on its own, it is no different from ordinary animals.

Remembering that force, Mrs. Vinlot became even more depressed. Hana was their last hope.
