***Bethany’s POV***

When he raised his voice, I was startled but over time, I got used to it. He was no longer the gentleman I used to know in Claybourne. Was he really a gentleman or was it just a figment of my imagination? From the start, he was not an ideal man but I allowed myself to fall for him.
