An Unfair Destiny.

The two-man who chased Yuriel were stunned to see the accident. They two looked at each other before turning to flee.

Yuriel blinked at the same moment. She grimaced to feel her whole body as if contorted.

With great effort, she turned her gaze to the side. She could see a silver car hit a big tree in the dim view.

The front of the car was badly damaged. The car’s front door was half ripped off its hinges when it was open. In addition, the windshield of the car’s glass windows smashed into pieces.

She noticed an unconscious woman leaning against the seat in the driver’s seat. The woman’s white dress was covered in blood. Her hands were drooping bloody at her side.

Yuriel blinked with her eyes to enhance her vision. After a while, her pupils quivered. Her breath caught in her throat.

Nooo!

Yuriel’s mouth was opened to say something in the middle of her breathless breath.

Tears flowed in her eyes as she quietly mumbled the woman’s name.

 “Yu ... nifer!”

The woman’s face was very familiar in her head. The one she always looks at in the mirror.

 “Yun ... nifer!”

Her breath was broken. From the edge of her eye, she saw flames creeping around the car.

Yuriel exerts her power to try to rise. And yet, the pain was just what She got. She can’t even move her fingertips.

“Please ….” she quietly whispered at the woman in the car as the fire grew.

 Yunifeer!

Her sights were growing gloomy. The last thing she remembered was a big fire burning the car with the sound of an explosion very deafening, then everything went dark.

 ....

The girl’s eyes blinked before they opened, staring blankly at the ceiling.

Yuriel blinked around the white walls with the smell of medicine poking at her nose.

The hospital?

Yuriel closed her eyes and calmed her irregular breathing.

The ECG machine echoes in her infirmary to indicate the movement of her vital organs.

 Silent.

There’s no one in her nurse’s room. Just an ECG echo filling the room silences.

Yuriel was familiar with the silence she left alone, with the sound of the clock ticking second by second.

Yuriel has no family. She’s an orphan who grew up in an orphanage. She doesn’t know anything about her family. The orphanage said she and her twin sister were abandoned in an orphanage when they were babies.

She doesn’t need anyone to go with her. She’s used to being alone.

But now, this loneliness is more than anything else.

Yuriel opened her eyes.

Nooo! She’s not alone. She still has Yunifer, her older twin sister she always misses.

The girl got up in a hurry.

Instantly fell on her head.

Yuriel shook her head and cast out the dizziness. She pulled the intravenous device in her hand and got out of the bed.

Pain engulfed her. Yuriel fell to her knees, trembling on the floor. She just realized her body was full of wounds that hadn’t healed after the accident.

Yuriel doesn’t care about her injuries. Instead, holding her arm wrapped in a plaster cast, she got up and walked out of her nurse’s room with difficulty, propped up on the wall.

Yuriel’s whole face is pale, and the cold sweat pours out through the pores of her skin to withstand the pain throughout her body.

But she didn’t care. So there’s only Yunifer, her twin sister, in her head.

Yuriel can’t forget the image of a big fire burning the car and the sound of a deafening explosion.

She shut her eyes to let her tears flow. Her lips quivered, calling her sister’s name. Yunifer...

Have you survived, too, right?

Yuriel fell down the hall from the hospital. She paid no attention to the strange views of the people in the hallway. Instead, her whole body quivered, tears slowly streaming down her cheeks.

“Miss, are you all right? Let me help you.” One of the nurses approached her and held her arm, helping her up.

Yuriel struck at the nurse’s rough hand. She stood with great difficulty.

She tried to help her, but Yuriel cut her off once more

“Miss, your condition is very bad.”

“Get lost!” She snapped at the nurse

Yuriel feels ill will toward those around her

She doesn’t need anyone’s help! They would never reach out to her even if she begged.

Yuriel’s face was faded, her breath breathless. Her sights are starting to blur. Yet, she continues to ignore it.

Yuriel shook her head. She wants to rush the meeting with Yunifer. She was the only family Yuriel had and the one person she cared about the most.

Yuriel can’t go any further. Her gaze grew dim. Her body staggered forward. Before she fell to the floor, a sturdy hand held her back.

“What else are you trying to do!”

The sound is cold as ice, and it is full of hidden rage, greeting Yuriel’s hearing. She saw a handsome man’s face staring at her cold in a dim viewe.

 “Who are you?”

That’s all she said before she lost consciousness.

 ....

A tall man is walking steadily in the hospital corridor. His presence attracted much attention from those in his way. A charismatic aura radiates from his well-constructed body dressed in a dark blue suit.

The man’s cold, handsome face only reinforces his charisma as the company’s CEO. Many women throw themselves under his feet with his handsome face and charisma from the chairman. Aleandro looked straight ahead with an indifferent expression, oblivious to the hustle and bustle around him. Behind him, the assistant and the secretary follow him, and a lawyer and his assistant.

A middle-aged doctor rushed over to him in the presence of a nurse.

“Mr. Gilren, nice to meet you,” the doctor extended his hand to shake Aleandro’s hand.

Aleandro broke his step and welcomed the doctor’s handshake.

 “Dr. Kenneth.”

“Would you like to see your wife?” Kenneth asked.

Aleandro just a polite nod to Dr. Kenneth’s question.

Aleandro’s wife was Yunifer Jenkins, the girl he married a year ago under duress. Aleandro doesn’t love his wife, not even very much.

They got married in an accident. Then, two months ago, Yunifer was caught on camera cheating at a hotel. It’s all over social media.

Aleandro’s reputation crashed after the scandal was reported. Aleandro lost face on his wife’s account and straight-up divorced her. But Yunifer insisted on refusing a divorce and even threatened suicide.

Aleandro tolerated it for a month, and he was prepared enough alimony for Yunifer to get them a divorce.

But she refused and even complained to old grandfather Gilren. Finally, Aleandro ran out of patience because of his wife and eventually brought their troubles to justice.

But Yunifer did not come to his divorce court and went to city C.

Soon Aleandro got word that Yunifer had an accident in the city C. After that, Yunifer was transferred to the best hospital in the Capital in a coma for nearly two weeks.

It postponed their divorce proceedings.
