Xavier was gone by the time I woke and I yawned and stretched. It had been the most trying week living with Jennifer. Xavier and I had gotten over the fight we had and had moved on counting that as a little misunderstanding. The make-up ended with popcorn, soda, a good movie, cuddling and apologies. Xavier pampered me a lot and I enjoyed it but I didn't get a swollen head. I brushed my teeth and fixed my hair. I went downstairs lazily with a book to read in my hand. The kitchen was empty except for the maids washing the wares.

"Good morning Nobildonna." Cindy one of the maids greeted me

"Good morning." I sat down and stifled a yawn "I want toast and orange juice."

Cindy nodded and went to work immediately. Soon I was munching toast and drinking orange juice.

"Where are the others?' I asked handing Cindy my plate

"Maestro Xavier is at a meeting with the boys and his sister is at work." Cindy answered

"And Jennifer?"

"I think she's out."

I nodded and left.

Finally some peace and quiet.
