Chapter Thirty Six: When Broken Hearts Clash

Getting your heart broken so badly can sound like nothing to everyone. But, when we experience it on ourselves, that's when we are going to realize that no one should absolutely deserve it at all.

Chrissy fell kneeling on the floor and shamelessly pleaded for mercy at Dionysus' direction repeatedly. She kept on bowing her head and her hands while sobbing so loud she could hardly breathe anymore.

She kept on doing that like her lies and deception would absolutely make everything go back to how it used to be. Like the old Chevalier would miraculously rise from the dead. However, Dionysus wasn't the type to forgive just anyone. He mercilessly pretended not to hear Chrissy's pleas at all. His face remained stoic and uncaring.

"Sir Dio, forgive me. Please!" Chrissy even had the audacity to crawl towards the defendant's table and tried reaching for Dionysus' hand. "Sir Dio, please. Save me! Save my brother!"
