Celine was fuming, and there was nothing I could do for her to calm down, so I sat tight in my chair and tried to finish some pendent work I had failed to fulfill due to the madness that was going on in my life. Interestingly, this madness had a name this time, “Wedding,” the same fucking wedding that Celine had been planning for God knew how long. It had been so long that I was losing interest in this ceremony even before things were coming together.

Honestly, I was indifferent about this formality. What was the point of spending so much money on one day when, in reality, the marriage we were going to have was nothing but finding the middle ground? But Celine didn’t wish to hear that, even when she had the perfect knowledge of why I agreed to marry her. Yet she chose to ignore the fact as she was planning this fairytale wedding that, for me, was a waste of money.

I tried to explain to her on multiple occasions about this and told her my view on all of this, but she chose to play dumb
