All Hail The Luna

I was dressed in a pretty pink blouse on a black, flowy skirt, paired with my mom's silver earrings. My hair was put up in a ponytail.

“You always look so pretty with little effort Alena, I'm so jealous,” Marina whined from on top of my bed where she was flipping through some old novels I stocked.

“I totally agree, it's those eyes of hers, and the hair, and the face, and everything.” Sophie, another friend of ours, said exaggerating from the open toilet where she was applying gloss on her lips in front of my newly replaced mirror.

I flipped my hair for effect chuckling as I dodged the pillow Marina threw at me.

“C’mon,” Marina said, jumping down from the bed. “We’re going to be late.”
