Damon's eyes were on his and when he spoke, his tone was even colder than before.

"Pray, Alex, what the hell is so funny?"

Dad placed his hands on my shoulder. "Are you certain of your words, Alena? You can't just make this sort of allegation."

Alex rose and stared at Damon with disbelief in his eyes.

"Don't tell me you believe this bullshit." His voice held a strong tone of anger.

I took a fearless step toward him. The bastard really couldn't tell when it was game up.

"What? Are you going to deny that you're housing Adrianne? A vampire who used to run the gambling house?" I asked.

“Adrianne is not…”

"So that was what it was," Damon said in a low tone, we all turned to him.

"I knew you had been hiding something the day we'd gone to the gambling house, or in this case someone, someone you didn't want me to see," Damon said.

Alex shook his head. "You can't be serious Damon! You can't be fucking serious!"

"Remember who you are talking to, Alex," Dad said.

"You shut the hell up!" He yelle
