CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

“Morning Sir Henry!” Greetings from my employees, I bumped into the lobby of the company's building.

I didn't grant them even a single glance. It's up to them thinking I'm arrogant and dominant. I would rather not show kindness to others, ever again. They will use you or even abuse your kindness towards them.

When I finally arrived at my office, I was greeted by my secretary. “Good morning Sir.” She said nicely.

I just gave her a nod in response. I went inside and sat on my swivel chair. I immediately opened my laptop and opened my email address.

Likewise, I have been looking for an update for years. Years had to pass, but it seems it's been difficult for us to cross our path. Even though my Mother already promised that she will not interfere with my plans.

I just sniffed my nose when I noticed that there was still no progress, and my last conversation with the hired private investigator popped up in my mind.
