Chapter 04

Elle Rose

There were hushed whispers that vibrated through my sore body. It travels into my skin and pumped blood over my veins.

A lump constricts my dry mouth from opening.

“Wake up, Elle Rose.”

Seriously, Beta Jacob. How much did you drug her to put her to sleep for weeks?!”

Weeks?!

I instantly groaned and massage my head after suddenly getting up. A large pain engulfed my whole system as if my head had just split into fragments. Every part of me aches with something.

What happened? How long had I been unconscious that my body felt so sore and aching?

My eyes fluttered. Two times. Three times. It flutters into a series of fast movements until I can open them again and adjust to the lighting of the place.

A face is too close to mine. Alpha Klaude looks devilishly crooked while grinning at me in his naked form with only his rugged-looking pants on.

He licked his lips as I froze in place, anticipating what he would do next as he looks at me with a cruel intention in his eyes. Alpha Klaude grazes his thumb over my dry lips and I unintentionally moan in response.

His face split into a smile as he glanced at the other presence beside the bed. His beta looks like he wasn’t happy with what I did. And I am not happy with anything.

I swallowed a gasp, trying to stop myself from being afraid as I tried to remember what happened and where I am right now. The whole place looks familiar with all the black painted walls and books all over the place.

Alpha Klaude barely touched my face. “Don’t be scared, my Kinsmir. Don’t be scared.” His voice sounded hypnotizing. “Jacob and I will take care of you.” His fingers trace over the side of my lips. I was looking up at him with tears in my eyes, remembering now everything that we have talked about.

My father was killed, and they made me kneel down in submission. Then….then…they said I'm a Kinsmir.

A rare form of alpha. A creature who can reign over the Lycan and Vampire world because of its abilities.

A werewolf who possesses the abilities of Lycan and vampire.

Alpha Klaude held my gaze. I was still tearing up when he leaned down and licked my tears out of my cheeks. Then, he grinned as he looked over at the other man inside this room.

Beta Jacob walked beside me in the bed. Both of their presence terrorizes me, but nothing can compare to the grief that I am feeling right now. Part of me wanted to wake up from this nightmare because they were insane.

I'll be damned with their insanity because I am not a Kinsmir.

“W-What do you want from me?” I asked, choking and wanting to just be out of this place. I needed some time to think. I wanted some time to think. “T-Tell me why I am here.”

I felt melancholic.

There must be a reason they are keeping me here after my father died. There must be a reason they waited for me to willingly come home without the knowledge of what happened to my father.

A reason they did not kill Alpha Taylor when they saw us almost fucking in the car.

The ultimate reason I was held captive and drugged was to be kept in this shithole.

Beta Jacob brushes his fingers and strokes some strands of my hair. Brief contact with his skin makes me shiver out of the frostiness of his skin. I can feel his warm breath touching the side of my nape.

“It must have hurt learning about your father, sweetheart.” Beta Jacob murmured, his voice almost sympathetic, causing me to suck in a sharp breath at the feeling of his breath on me. “ But a Kinsmir should not weep for a weak soul.”

“I-I…am..not a Kinsmir.” My voice trembles at that. “That type of werewolf doesn’t exist. You’re crazy. Both of you are crazy!”

Alpha Klaude was in my ear. He was licking and swirling his tongue inside. “You're Kinsmir, sweetheart. You and I are alike.”

“W-What do you mean by that?” I almost did not recognize my own voice.

Alpha Klaude closed his eyes. His colossal frame in front of my eyes is demanding to look at. Then, when he opened his eyes again, I saw the mystery I’d been trying to solve for all these years.

“Y-Your eyes…the color of your eyes…” My tone sounded like fear.

“What about my fiery red eyes, sweetheart? Hmmm.”

When I was young, I constantly asked my father why he always wants me to wear black glasses. Often, he will say that it’s for my protection, but sometimes, I guess it is to hide the color of my eyes from everyone.

A dark fiery red color glows over the orbs of my eyes. It was bleeding and it is too much to handle for normal eyes. Werewolves only have three variations of colors for their eyes in distinction with their rank. Red is for the alpha, green is for the beta, and yellow-orange for the ordinary ones. However, those eye colors only appear during the transformation. Mine appears every time and I had no control of it. That’s why when I was almost a teenager, he hired someone to hide the color of my eyes.

And I’ve been hiding it for a very long time.

“Y-You’re a Kinsmir?” I asked.

Alpha Klaude smirks and tucked some hair behind my left ear. “You and I are Kinsmir, Elle Rose. The only Kinsmir that are alive.”
