So handsome to be dangerous

Waking up in the morning both Wilson and Rita were expecting to find Purity back as the door was left open but she didn't come back.

Rita got scared, remembering what she found out yesterday, being worried was an understatement.

The day was here, they needed to go for the will reading, she couldn't report to the police as it wasn't upto twenty four hours since she disappeared.

"You mean she isn't back?" Wilson asked as they were having breakfast.

"I wonder where she could have gone," Rita replied.

"Sandy, is there something we need to know?" Wilson asked her.

"Of course not dad, I don't know where she went,"

"I have seen on the internet about the attack at the bar down the street. Did you send her to buy you drinks?" Wilson asked.

"That is a grave accusation. Sandy doesn't drink," Rita intervened.

"You are telling me or are you trying to assure yourself?" Wilson arched his eyebrows and she too was taken aback.

She wasn't sure but it seemed like both reasons were true.

"Just be praying she comes back safe and sound before I start rethinking of you being my daughter,"

"Honey, those words are harsh she is still a child. You want to find her and the fact remains we are going to be humiliated by Greg,"

"Let me remind you that, that same girl you mistreat because of money and wealth is still your daughter. Another thing if you must know, my mom left her the whole hospital and that is why she must be at the will reading and the thirty percent of the company is under her name to. I think you know the way to the family house," Wilson got up and walked out leaving both of them shocked.

Rita shocked because she didn't expect the old woman could give such a young girl a big hospital. It is the biggest and best private hospital in the country.

Sandy was shocked because nothing was left for her. Why was she treated differently, they wanted a strong child and she has proven to everyone beyond doubt that she is a fighter, why then leave her with nothing.

That thought alone grew the hate she felt for Purity, everything seemed to be going her way without putting in a fight.

"Hurry up, let's go," Rita urged her but she had already lost her appetite.

"I'm full mom, let's go," she responded getting up from the seat and for the first time, she carried her plate to the kitchen.

She needed to impress her mom to be helped as there is nothing you won't expect at the family house. Every rich family comes with a handful but the Wilson's came with two handfuls.

Rita picked the car keys and led the way outside. The drive to the family house was quiet as both minds were thinking in different directions. Getting into the house, everyone was seated and they were the last to arrive.

Due to old age and poor health, the old man had a nurse beside him, just in case something happened to him.

"Good morning Dad," Rita greeted and all he did was nod.

"Good morning grandpa," Sandy greeted with a bow.

"Where is she?" The old man asked ignoring Sandy's greetings.  He didn't need to mention names for them to know who he was referring to.

"She can't come today, I'm sorry dad," Rita apologized.

"Or maybe because you are embarrassed to show her to the world and think an illegitimate child will cover you up?" Greg chipped in, sarcasm in his voice.

He has never accepted Sandy as part of the family and maybe never will as according to him, in there family nobody is allowed to have two wives let alone having a child with another woman.

"According to Mrs. Magi's last wish, her first granddaughter must be present during the reading of her will," the lawyer said.

"The will won't be read until she is here. The meeting is cancelled till then," the old man said in a low but authoritative voice.

"Wilson, I thought you knew about this, your daughter was supposed to be here, why then waste our precious time?" Greg asked.

"I apologize for the waste of time, I will make sure she is present during the reading next time," Wilson apologized.

The old man looked at him then faced the nurse.

"I want to go in," he instructed her and was helped in leaving everyone there.

"Attention seekers, always wanting the world to revolve around your family. A simple thing, bring your daughter, you can't, now you have spoilt our precious time," Greg said getting up from his seat and walked out.

Wilson and the lawyer left as well. Greg didn't come with his family and Rita was left with Sandy in the living room.

"Do you know where that guy lives?" Rita asked Sandy.

The way things are going, the only way she could be at peace is if she finds Purity and puts an end to everything.

       "Which guy?"

"The one you said is dating Purity,"

"No mum, I don't know his place but we can go to the bar later and find out about him,"

      "Do you know his name?"

"No mum but I know his face. If I see him, I will know him," Sandy assured and Rita nodded.

Opening her eyes, Purity finds herself in a strange room. She didn't need a sooth seer to tell her that this was not her room.

The door opened and Denzel, dressed in all black walks in as the images of the guys in black entering the bar flash into her mind freaking her out.

"Please don't hurt me, allow me go home and I swear you will never see my face. I'm already a dead meat," she rushed her words and all he did was stare.

"What do you want from me? I don't have anything to offer," she asked after a while.

"What were you doing in the bar at such a time?" He asked in a calm voice. Since yesterday he has been having that question in his mind.

"My sister sent me to buy drinks for her, she does that every Sunday evening. Please allow me go, they will kill me,"

"I won't hurt you and I can't allow you go,"

"My mom will find me, I don't want to land you into trouble. Thank you for helping me out,"

        "What's your name?"

       "Purity Wilson,"

"Wilson sounds farmiliar. Get well first then we will talk about that," he walked out not giving her an opportunity to say another word.

Just as she was about to lay on the bed and rest, she remembered the interview she was supposed to go to.

Checking around the room there was no way she could find out the time. She got down from the bed, limped to the door, opened it and walked out.

She limped to the first door on her left and knocked.

       "Come in,"

She pushed the door open and Denzel was on the bed doing something on his laptop.

"Is there a problem?" Denzel asked.

"Sorry to disturb you, what's the time?"

        "Eleven fifteen,"

       "I missed the interview,"

"You want to go for an interview in your state?"

"You won't understand, that is a life changing opportunity,"

"The Wilson family have a company, I don't think you need an interview to work in your family company,"

"Can you help me with a phone to call my friend, please," she pleaded changing the topic.

She wanted to call Andrew, to know if he is fine and tell him that she is fine. She knew for sure that he must be worried sick about her by now.

Denzel took his phone from the bed and stretched it to her.

"Thank you so much," she appreciated with a smile showing her well set milk like teeth and her cute dimples.

He faced his laptop to avoid the thoughts that had started coming into his mind.

Though she wanted to leave the room, it was painful walking around and she didn't think the call would take that long.

Andrew picked the call after the third ring.

         "Hello, Andrew," she called out.

"Hello, who is this?" He questioned.

"It's me, Purity," she introduced herself.

"Purity, where are you? Are you safe? Were you hurt?" He rushed his questions.

Though he was worried, he felt a bit relieved hearing her voice. When he couldn't find her early in the wards, he thought something bad had happened to her.

"I'm fine, I don't know where I am? Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yes, don't worry about me. I'm in hospital but if you find out where you are just give me a call and I will come for you,"

"Thank you so much, can you help me find out if my dad has looked for me? I know my mom doesn't have that time and Sandy is having a victory dance," she requested.

"I will but if you ask me, don't go back home now till you are fully strong," he suggested.

"How will that be possible? No person will allow a stranger in his house for a long time and I missed the interview, that is my home and I will have to go back," she shrugged forgetting he couldn't see her.

"Recover first then we will talk, use this time to relax away from all the family trouble. Forget about all your troubles and add some weight. You are so thin, for my liking," he joked and she laughed.

"In somebody's house?" She asked after the laugh.

"If he or she was a bad person, don't you think he would have hurt you yesterday when you were vulnerable?" Andrew asked and she turned to face Denzel who looked like he wasn't listening to her.

He looked so handsome to be dangerous or so she thought.
