Lara had just arrived at the restaurant she’d picked for her meeting with Benjamin. She’d been surprised to see an email from Benjamin earlier that morning, claiming he had some proposal that would benefit the both of them. She’d never associated with the man and had only met him on the night of Ryan’s surprise birthday party, where they’d only exchanged a few words.
