"Think, Ghino! Better think before Big Boss, Victor, or whatever his name is, and his ready-to-kill werewolves get back to the mansion." I uttered profanity to myself as my wolf puffed out a heavy load of worrying air from my mouth and nose.

We already stayed enough in the mansion yet I haven't saved Nathan yet. Perhaps Big Boss and his wolves are on their way to the mansion, knowing it would be impossible that no one from his wolves with us had reported the incident.

With just a tap of anyone's fingers on the phone, they can notify Big Boss about the surprising invasion. Not to mention I have seen only less than thirty wolves around out of the hundreds that I sensed before we invaded them.

After buffing out the cold air, my preoccupied brain, little by little, started to ease off. All my senses were cleared out, eased off, and nothing was left but the continuous sound of impeccable silence, allowing me to hear the sounds of nature.
