“Lia, Lia,” John’s call startled me. I feel my eyes widened.

Maybe I looked stupid then. At first, he tries not to laugh, but ended up smiling amusedly. He asked, “I see you motionless for a moment. What’s wrong?”

“It’s, no, it’s nothing. I was just thinking about work this afternoon,” I said, then focused on eating noodles without raising my face because of shame.

Shit, I had had been thinking a lot, but I still could not figure out what was going on with Ivor that day.

Maybe he didn’t get weird, I just thought too much. I tried to hypnotize myself for such superficial reasons. And I felt that my actions were ridiculous and stupid.

In the afternoon, I brought the report to him as promised.

When I walked into the room, Ivor was still busy with his work. He was so focused that he didn’t notice my appearance.

I left the report on your desk and then left his room. But immediately, Ivor raised his head and said, “Stop, I’ll comment on your report right away.”
