Chapter 43: Find The Document

“Don't worry, it's not your fault,” Ivor said. I raised my head and looked at him. My eyes and his sharp brown eyes met. “It was just a coincidence.”

“But, who's going to pay for the 7 days I'm sick? Hotel rent, service fee, living fee. Who?" I said sadly.

“I handled this,” Ivor insisted.

“How?” I was surprised and curious.

But Ivor just smiled and continued his work. I wanted to know what happened.

A few minutes later, the SUV stopped. I assumed we had reached the airport. But when I got out of the car, the surrounding landscape surprised me. It wasn't an airport, it was a luxury resort.

Having a 2-day stay at a luxury resort in Dubai was a completely new and exciting experience for us. You know, ‘us’ were employees who worked for the company. Getting our jobs done and getting a monthly salary has been our forte. Not Ivor.

“How did we get the chance to stay in this luxury resort?” I asked Ivor, when we entered the resort.

“I rent it,” Ivor said.

I was surprised, “The whole plac
