Chapter 59

I sighed, “Because I've been bothering you.” It was just my reason. I couldn't tell Bruce the whole truth.

“Oh? You know, I don't mind,” Bruce laughed and said. “I'm really glad you agreed to let me take you home.”

I laughed and shrugged, “Not that much.”

He laughed and said, “Wait a minute.”

Bruce stepped out of the car, walking towards the car front door next to him, “It's really dangerous for you. So don't do it again.”

I smiled, “I get it.”

“If not, I'll have to lock the car door every time I go with you,” he said.

I laughed, “I won't give you a chance to do so.”

Bruce closed the car door, went back to his seat and started the car again.

“Lia,” Bruce called me as I began to loosen up. “I have something to tell you.”

“Yes?” I answered back. “Go ahead.”

“I know I'm in too much of a hurry, but maybe our kiss at the club tonight has kept me from being patient,” Bruce said. I frowned when I heard him talking about our unexpected kiss.
