Doris smiled, quite satisfied by all she had done so far. She had Wyatt on the edge and he went about holding interviews and doing charity work to cover up all that she had revealed about him.

Her niece on the other hand was doing alright, her career was flourishing and the newspaper provided her with adequate security just in case Wyatt decided to try anything funny.

She exhaled as she ensured her scarf was secured tightly around her chin. She couldn’t risk anyone seeing her in public. Someone had told her that Wyatt was offering a huge amount of money to whoever was able to find her, dead or alive.

Living most of her life in Oregon had given her an advantage. She could easily find her way around places without being seen.

She sighed as she squinted around, her eyes skirting the vicinity to ensure she wasn’t followed.

She wasn’t scared of anything and was very rigid but she instantly became a gooey mess when things about her family were brought up.
