Lisa groaned softly as she opened her bleary eyes. At first nothing was clear but when her vision became clear she then realized she was in an hospital.

She tried standing up from the bed but then a hand held her down.

“No you need to rest Lisa” she heard Daniel’s voice. She turned as she and Daniel’s eyes came in contact.

“What happened? Why am I here? And how long have I been out?” Lisa asked and touched her forehead as her head was aching so badly.

“You’ve been out for two days.The doctor said you were poisoned and thank goodness you were brought to the hospital in time. You would have lost the baby” Daniel said looking as worried as ever.

He had only gone for hours and Lisa was in the hospital. He didn’t realize that he had created so many enemies for Lisa and he blamed himself for it. Now , Lisa’s life is in danger just like the baby.
