Chapter 199

Alfred had taken the kids home to rest after they had spent some time with their grandma. He had promised the kids he would bring them to their grandma so they could spend the weekends together.

The car screeched to a halt in front of Lisa’s house and Lisa was the first to alight the car, followed by the kids and Alfred was the last.

Alfred sighed softly. She knew Lisa was still angry with him. No matter how hard he’s been trying to apologize, she wouldn’t even want to listen.

“Daddy, are you not coming inside?” Isabella asked and Alfred turned to her. He didn’t even realize he'd been inside the car for so long.

“Sure. Go inside. I’ll be inside in a jiffy” Alfred said and the kid nodded and ran inside the house.

Alfred walked inside the house and met the kids sitting on the couch in the sitting room having some funny conversations. He was sure Lisa had gone to her room upstairs.
