Mending relationships

“Hey, hey,” Adam almost failed to grab Rain’s hand as the latter walked so fast trying to avoid him.

“You should listen to me first.”

“What? Are you frustrated that you didn’t get to bang your ex-wife? With everyone arriving soon then you expected?”

Rain started throwing punches on his shoulders and chest. While trying to hold back his tears.

Adam immediately pulled Rain close. And restrained his struggles.

“You said you love me that night. Yet, I see you here at your ex-wives house?” Rain’s sobbing got buried deep in his shirt. As he hugged Rain tightly.

“Since the beginning of time. Lilibeth and I never surrendered to each other. And that includes the ‘banging’.” he refrained himself from laughing.

“ You are my first and my last, whether in the Garden of Eden. The drylands, and even if you’re reincarnated as a plant. I’ll forever love and take care of you and no one else.”

Rain’s struggle began to subside. While his hand encircles Adam’s back.
