CHAPTER SEVEN

It's been two days now since Damian left, he didn't call her or come home, she had been in touch with Rubby earlier and he told her that the boss father arranged another date for him and he would be back after that, she was Frustrated and decided to drinks even if it was late in the night.

" You didn't even call me or text and you claim you love me" she muttered under her breath as she gulped the whole glass and added another one.

" Very bad Mr Damian Martins". She was already very drunk when her door opened and she saw a figure walk in. Her sight was a bit blurry but she could make out the figure and she knew it was Damian.

" Damian" she quickly hugged him and he could smell alcohol on her body.

" How much did you drink Amy?" He asked as he helped her to sit down.

" You are very bad Damian, you left for two days and didn't call or text me and you went on a blind date as soon as you got back"

" Someone set the boundaries for me and I am getting old so I need to get married" he answered.

" I missed you Damian, please don't leave me again" she said and pounced into his embrace and started to cry"

" It's okay" he stroked her hair gently.

" I like you Damian and I do not like that you are going on those blind dates, if you are going on a date it should be me" .she said still hugging him tight.

" Are you sure Amy, I will hold you to your words tomorrow?" he Said said still stroking her hair.

" I just didn't want you to get involved in my pitiful life Damian but I can't bear it anymore, I really do like you. Please stop going on those dates, I won't be stubborn to you again" she whined like a child.

" What pitiful life Amy?" He asked, he had always been curious about her past and why she never agrees to talk about it but she didn't answer again, looking at her he discovered she was fast asleep.

" So much for drinking when you can't handle it" he said as he tucked her Into bed, he wanted to stand up and leave but realized she held tightly to his hand, left with no other choice, he laid down beside her  and made a promise to himself never to let her go no matter what and also fell asleep..

The rays of sunshine peeked into the room and shone directly on her face, stretching her body. She made to stand up but felt a grip on her waist. She turned and saw Damian lying down beside her fast asleep. Memories of the night flooded back in her head and she sighed heavily and smiled, she remembered everything she told Damian.

" Well it's for the good," she muttered.

" Hope you are not planning on taking your words back right?"he asked as he opened his eyes, man he looked handsome.

" No Damian, am not I really do love you and I don't want you going on any other blind date" she replied in a serious voice.

" Then why did you push me away the other day?" He asked, sitting up.

" Some things are better left unsaid Damian, I do not know what the future holds for us but am willing to give us a try. I can't fully call it love yet but I know what I feel and it's different. I might not necessarily give you all you deserve but am willing to stick with you until the very end Damian. We met under strange circumstances and I want to thank you for everything you have done for me these two years, taking care of me and helping me to regain myself. Not everyone would do that and I sincerely appreciate it. From now onwards, am I willing to give you my heart" she said with all sincerity and Damian couldn't hold himself anymore and drew her to a kiss, something that has been on his mind for a long time now.

" I promise to stick with you until the end Amy, I will Never leave you no matter what" he said and kissed her again, it was not until he could feel her lips swollen that he left her.

" Thank you Damian".

" But Amy, can't you tell me anything about your past, I mean why you were under that cliff two years ago".

She kissed him again, " when the time is right Damian I will let you know" she replied and drew him to a kiss again,this time it was a kiss filled with the untold emotions of their hearts and things left unsaid.

" Let's work together on finding out the depth of what we share" she said and kissed him again, this time he held her by her waist as if he didn't want to let her go and kissed her passionately. He had hugged her a lot of times but today he paid attention to the fact that she had a very thin waist, he began to imagine how other parts of her body looked and smiled at himself. Thinking about that he dragged her closer to his body and held her firmly with his two hands as he deepened the kiss.

Damian had a smile on his face as he entered his office that morning, who would have known that the almighty Damian Martins would be so happy to finally find a girl, his thirty one years of existence he had never courted any girl and now he was In love with Amy, he knew it was not that strong yet but he didn't want to let her go. He made a vow to himself to be with her until the very last, making her problems his own. He knew she was hiding a lot of things from him but he was willing to be patient and wait, for now let the romance bloom.
