CHAPTER SIXTY SIX.

She knocked on the door softly before pushing it open, her son was sitting on the bed and he had an angry expression on his face and she could understand why.

" Damian" she called his name slowly and he turned to her.

"Mum".

" Why didn't you finish your dinner?" She sat beside him and placed her hand on his shoulder.

" I was filled, you know I am not a heavy eater" he answered, faking a smile but she could see through his fake smile.

" What happened Damian?with you and Cody".

He massaged his forehead, " I don't know mum she just broke up with me on the day we won the game, I have been asking her since then but she would not even talk to me or tell me what I did".

" I will talk to her".

" No, don't do that mum. I don't want her to think I am stuck up on her, I have a lot to do as I have come back so I will focus on that".

She smiled at him, " I am proud of you son".

" Thanks mum" he replied and hugged her.
