Chapter Thirty Eight

Alpha Draven POV

I smiled as Aura pulled me close, she kissed my lips and I felt like I could soar. I had missed her so much. I held on to her tight as though she may disappear. She snuggled back into me, holding her was heaven. I kissed the top of her head as we lay there exhausted from our lovemaking.

The doctor had released her a couple of days ago, on the ride home, she had aroused me enough to make me nearly take her in the car. It was obvious she had missed me too. I smiled as I felt her belly against me. It wouldn’t be too much longer until we met our twins. I felt like I was living a dream.

Aura suddenly sat up, “you, ok?” I asked worry laced my tone. She shook her head yes. She settled back down, ten minutes passed, and she sat up once again, this time a whimper escaped her lips. I sat up; I gently rubbed her back; “Baby what’s wrong?” I felt panic rising in me.
