Jared's Pov

As I walked out of the Dungeon where Aiden had been locked up, I found myself pondering on all that we had spoken about. Aiden had been genuinely confused when I brought the topic of him having a wolf up. It felt like he had no idea what I was talking about and I could see the shock in his eyes.

But how could that be? How could he be completely oblivious to a creature that lives in him? How could he not feel it, talk to it or even know it? Just what type of person was Aiden?

Aiden was strange. He had always been strange and I don't think he would ever stop being strange. One thing I knew for sure was that I had seen it: his eye colour. There had been a switch and I knew that could only be the eyes of his wolf.

It was even more strange that the eye colour was mismatched. Black and gold? How on earth! This was enough reason why I should get rid of him. I didn't know what would become of him if he remained alive.
