Later that same day, Dmitri pushed Scarlett into a prison cell.

"You will stay here until the boss wishes to see you. He is busy with your boyfriend at the moment."

Scarlett looked around after the door locked behind her. She was in a basement that smelled like mold. Moss grew on the walls, and water was dripping from the ceiling.

But there was a bunk bed. Although it looked worn down and rotten, it was better than the alternative: sleeping on the floor.

Grumbling to herself, Scarlett laid down on the mattress and grimaced at how wet it was. It stank like pee too.

"Whatever... It must be better than the floor."

Scarlett miraculously fell asleep but woke up in the middle of the night when she heard footsteps.

"Just kick him into the same cell as the woman."
