CHAPTER 1.7

After the trerth invasion, people were sure that they had been wiped out by the monsters, but no

one ever bothered to confirm that notion. It was an ideal place for one to be isolated from

worldly influence, if one never wanted to escape that way. The sea water would gradually turn

black when one got closer to the abandoned continent of Trerth.it served as a warning sign to

the fishermen, warning them that they had reached far enough and needed to go no further

unless they did not value their lives.

After stumbling through some sisal plants, Nelanian found himself at the shores of the island.

He could not believe what he was seeing, he had to touch the sound to be sure his mind was

not playing tricks on him. Sure enough, there was no mistaking it, the sand was black.There are

no foreign influences that caused the discoloration, the sand was in its natural form.It felt like he

was stepping into a void, like darkness swallowing his feet.

Nelanian Had traversed a few feet into the sandy shores when he lost the will to go on. he

looked up,Towards the sky, and there was no visible light. he looks towards the Horizon and

there was no sign of life. he could hear the waves of water splashing in front of him, yet he

couldn't see them mass of water itself. it was too dark for his eyes to perceive. It was then that

he knew his eyesight did not have the fault, nor did his ailing brain trick him. it was the nature of

the island, and he knew exactly where he was. He was closer to Trerth then he had ever been

in his entire life.

He thought about going further Into the Darkness so that he could hide from his pursuers, but

even he knew that a fate worse than that awaiting him in the hands of his pursuers was lurking

in the Shadows of the water in front of him. he declared then and then, that he would rather face

his pursuers than be foolish enough to traverse Into the Darkness. He turned back and stepped

into the forest behind him. As he did so, I could hear the sound of rustling leaves, breaking twigs

and a crowd of men conversing in the darkness.

“I hope you fancy a little bit of history lessons,” the king said, sipping his wine elegantly. Judy

sat at the other end of the corner, Uncomfortable and tense. That did not bother the king in the

slightest, he continued to say, “You see, history has it that the first Alchemists, the followers of

the founders Cythis and Bevana were once considered a cult. an evil one for that matter, some

were hoping that they could be eradicated and done away with. At first it was a small following,

consisting of only five families, my family, The Vonners, was among those five.

Soon enough, after the entire Kingdom got hostile and began a violent denial against Cythis

and Bevana, the rest of the family fled, renouncing their beliefs on the founding. all of them

abandoned Cythis and Bevana except the Vonners. My ancestors are loyal to them, and they

were promised the Kingdom after Cythis and Bevana succeeded, and succeeded they did. my
