Chapter Thirty-seven

Her new dress lay on her bed, wrapped in plastic but still stunningly beautiful. Bonnie had been kind enough to hem the bottom of it right away, knowing that Lily needed it for her date that night.

Lily glanced at the clock on top of her night stand and her eyes widened. She'd completely lost track of time.

“Shit,” she whispered. “He'll be here soon.”

It was already a quarter to seven, which meant that Wyatt would be at her apartment to pick her up in fifteen minutes. Luckily, she had already showered, but she still needed to straighten her hair and do her makeup.
