FORTY EIGHT

It was only an hour later that Avelyn woke up from her uncomfortable sleep because she was sleeping on her stomach. The remaining tears that had been dripping on the white sheet on her bed, now looked dry and there was nothing left there from her tears. It's just that Avelyn's eyes now look swollen like the eyes of a gloomy monster. In solitude she embraced her own body miserably. Lean who came out earlier didn't seem to have returned. Nothing has changed in the room since Lean left. A painting on the wall near the door still looks tilted due to Lean's slamming of the door. It's bad to be trapped in a motel with Lean.

Avelyn took a quick glance at her cellphone lying on the nightstand. She seemed to have received many calls while crying earlier. But she was too lazy to pick it up because she was afraid that she would not be able to make a clear sound because she was muffled by the sound of her childish crying.
