Lucas' POV

"What the hell are you thinking?!" Denver shouted as soon as the car door slammed shut.

"What the hell are you thinking?" I asked the same question. "Why did you tell her that the CEO will meet her? I'm the CEO and you're going to bring me in—."

"In your private doctor, you fucking idiot! A sane person would never jump out of the balcony from the second floor!"

"If I don't do that, she'll see me inside of that VIP room!" I yelled back frustratedly, wincing in pain after I broke my ankle when I landed wrong on the ground just because of a fucking small rock. "And have you seen a balcony in a bungalow?!"

"That doesn't matter, I can create one with that but you, jumping like that is so unnecessary!" Denver smacked my head and I heard my driver stifle a chuckle but he covered it by clearing his throat when I hit his shoulder.

"Sorry boss." He apologized and stepped hard on the gas to add more speed.
