First Trimester

Pregnancy is a gift a from God, the most awaited chapter for a woman's life. yet there are so many questions that Nicole thinks during her first trimester. Since she is living with HIV, she is afraid she might pass the virus to her baby, is she been able to give normal life to her. how this will affect to her health and how can she be a good mother after all she have been through. 

With an agony in her heart, she asks Marco, "How I am supposed to be happy if there are possibility that I cannot provide a normal life for our child?" tearfully said by Nicole towards Marco. He then stares to Nicole for a while and immediately hold her hand while saying "If we can still live a normal life, we can also give it to our child, we need to as parents. you need to be positive in this and see things in a better way."

They already having their breakfast and Nicole still feels down. "Maybe this is part of my Hormones that I feel this, I overthink a lot and I know it is not good for my pregnancy, Mind you if I can visit my mom after I work so I can have a breath of fresh air?" Nicole asked Marco. He then replied with a big smile "Yeah it is better, will just pick you up in her house, just text me when I will be picking you up." "Oh, sure no worries, thank you for letting me go there." Nicole responded with a smile. 

As they already heading to their respective works. Marco is adamant to think things that are out of their hands, he also feels the same way with Nicole however he knew taht if he will tell it to Nicole, she might end up giving up on the possibility to have a better outcome for their family. He needs to be strong for her. Marco immediately texted Nicole, "Keep safe on your way to your office, I love you and let us be strong for our baby." 

As Nicole approached near to her office, she sees Terrence from afar and yelled "Wait for me Terrence." she continually yelling while approaching nearly to Terrence. "Is really necessary to yell dear?" Terrence laughingly responded. They both heading to their office. All of Nicole's colleague only knew that she is pregnant but not her HIV status as Nicole didn't want to be discriminated because of it. "How's your pregnancy?" Terrence asked Nicole. "Well, I am experiencing down moments randomly, I overthink a lot lately." Nicole responded with a sad voice. "Whatever it is bothering you it just hormones you need to cut it off as it is not healthy for the baby." He then advices her. Nicole nod and proceed to her work area to work. 

It is already lunch time as Nicole craves for a Japanese food so she decided to have her lunch outside with Terrence. Surprisingly while heading to the restaurant, she saw Louie from afar. She stares vigorously as she noticed changes on Louie’s appearance. "Look its Louie." She whispered to Terrence. "Oh, why he looks like that?" Terrence asked. "I really don't know, after the breakout I don't have any news about him." Nicole responded. They both proceed to the restaurant and pretended they didn't notice him. Louie then also sees Nicole but chooses as well to pretend that he didn't see her. Immediately after Nicole ordered their food she immediately decided to just take out the foods and just have their lunch at the office. While they are heading to the office, on her peripheral view she sees Louie is still staring at her. 

"Are you not comfortable with Louie all these times?" Terrence asked Nicole while they are walking. "Actually, I am not there are things and situation that became worst because of him." Nicole responded. "But you need to forgive him, you have already had a good life with Marco now." an advice from Terrence. "I already forgave him, but it doesn't mean I need to have communication with Him." Nicole responded with a heavy voice. 

After work, Nicole then prepares to head to her mom's house. "Are you now going home?" Terrence asked her. "No, I will have dinner in my mom's house and Marco will pick me there right after. Why?" Nicole responded. "I thought I can ask you to accompany me for a while but that is ok, maybe next time." Terrence politely answered Nicole. 

While waiting for a cab Nicole notice that someone is staring at her from the other side of the road. Upon checking it is Louie. She immediately takes her phone and texted Marco "Hey Louie is here in the office; I don't know what he is up to as we have seen him during our lunch earlier." When Marco received her text, he immediately replied saying "What will you do?". Nicole's cab arrived already and she just head to her mom's house. She then checks Marco's reply and replied "Nothing I will do for him, already in the cab, pick me up at around 8pm at mom's house". 

Given that Marco is also done with his work he tried going to Nicole's office vicinity if by chance he will see Louie there. Upon arriving he was not wrong he saw Louie at a nearby coffee shop. Louie did see him too. But they both ignore each other. Marco just buys a cup of coffee and head towards to his car. Marco then thinks Louie is into something towards Nicole. So, he drives off to pick up Nicole even if it is too early. 

Upon arriving, Nicole’s moms said, "Oh you are here too, join us with our dinner I have cooked plenty of dishes." Nicole to her surprise asked Marco "Why are you so early?" "I don't want to be in our company dinner so I decided to join you here." Marco Responded. They are already done with their dinner and Marco and Nicole will now go home. 

In the car, Marco immediately brought up the instance that he is worried about Louie. "After I read your message, I head towards to your office vicinity and saw Louie there also." Marco narrated. "Did he do something to you or notices you?" Nicole asked. "I know he saw me I just pretended not to notice him." Marco Responded. 

Nicole is still thinking of what Louie's intent why he is there. A coincidence or there is something he is up to knowing his personality, Nicole is afraid that there is nothing good why he is there.
