Chapter One Hundred-Twenty

Eve slowly opened her eyes after feeling a hand on her left shoulder. She lifted her aching head and caught Henry towering above her. She flashed a grin and rested her head back on the counter.

She wanted to call either Jen or Olivia to tell them about her state so that they could come and pick her up but after several thoughts, she decided to call Henry instead.

Henry moved to the corner and was speaking with the bartender. Eve lifted her head and through hazy eyes, she saw him speaking to the bartender. She couldn't hear what they were talking about.

A few seconds later, Henry returned to the bar stand and snatched Eve's handbag from the table. He grabbed her left hand and helped her get down the stool. He began dragging her towards the door.

"Let go of me!" she yelled and tried to free her hand from his grasp. She staggered and almost fell but Henry helped her regain her balance.

"You are drunk Eve, just come with me," he replied and continued dragging her away.
