Chapter One Hundred Seventy Eight

"So what's your plan? Staying all day in bed without a job till you have the baby?' Mrs Bloom raised her voice at Eve.

Eve was sprawled on the bed, facing her phone. She was having a video call with her mother.

"Eve, if you don't want to get a job then at least you can tell Henry about the baby. He should have thought about his marriage before putting the baby there."
