The mating bond

It had happened before, dhampirs mostly didn't need anchors but the modern world had made it seem so with the change.

With dhampirs at a certain age, the vampire dna that had been reticent suddenly became dominant and began fighting the body.

That's when the dhampir decides to take an anchor to go through with it or fight the pain and see which side won out.
