Demon

I yawned, moaning the soft pillow underneath my skin.

Wait?

My eyes flew open and I realized two things at once.

The pillow smelt familiar and I was staring at the maroon painted walls of my room.

I sat up almost immediately, my mind fraying at the edges as I took in the room, questions of how I had gotten back here popping in my head

My eyes widened as images from last night flashed in my head. Images of the rotten face dude sneering at me with dead eyes.

Goosebumps snuck up my arm and I inwardly shivered.

I looked around again, still wondering how I had made it out of that one alive.

I sensed Alec's presence before a simple knock sounded on the door.

Knowing Alec wasn't like Sydney or Claude. He respected privacy and boundaries unlike the other two.

I let out a grainy response, letting him know it was alright to come in.

What time was it?, I mused. My eyes quickly going over to the drawn curtains.

The fact that I felt sated and satisfied bothered me in the back of my mind.
